My friend (and ex) will not let me mix with boys when I go clubbing? it's ruining every night for me?

Well he obviously still likes you and gets jealous when you are around other guys, he just wants u to himself. Guys r just weird like that. Just tell him if he keeps doing this then your not gonna go clubbing with him anymore. Just find other people to go with. Hope this helps and good luck. :)
