What would happen if you took an EXTREMELY long pole and spun it so one end reached the speed of light?

I know this is wildly unrealistic but I was just thinking if did that (somehow) and somewhere along its length it reached light speed, also what about if from the point of light speed what if the pole went farther thus faster? One more question, what about the time slowing as you came up on light speed? BTW, please don't hate me for use of words, grammar, wrong science stuff, etc. I'm only in grade 8.
