Do I give my ex's daughter (8yrs old) the Xmas present...?

if you already had the present then I would say give it to her, if its ok with your ex and you explained you already had the present. However as you don't I wouldn't. I don't think your ex would not expect her to get a present from you and also buying a present especially when you have already split may be percieved as a little odd.
