Do you think you are still a Muslim if you alter some of the beliefs to suit modern day society?

For example, I don't really follow the alcohol belief because alcohol exists in almost every modern day medicine, or toiletry. I also don't follow the dating belief because arranged marriages are very unrealistic in Western civilization, and dating is one of the only ways to find a wife. I won't do any sexual contact until I'm married. However, I try to follow most of the other rules, and I pray/go to mosques on holidays, and I don't smoke or do drugs. Do you think I'm still considered a muslim (but a modern day muslim)?
