How fast does hair grow?

School just got out and im going into 8th grade. I want to grow out my hair for the beginning of school in just over 2 months. Right now it's 8 inches from my chin. i would like it to be about 3 and a half inches longer. Is that an unrealistic goal? how long will it grow inn two months?
