Husband Bankrupt, joint Dept on Divorce?

My husband and I separated amicably 5 and half years ago. He agreed to pay our joint debt as long as I didnt have claim and financial/maintenace payments from him. We filed for divorce recently and he has just told me he went bankrupt 8 months ago. I have not heard anything from the creditors myself. How will this affect me on divorce going final? Im in Scotland.
